Artist Statement

As an artist I am inspired by human nature; man’s constant struggle and confrontation with himself, in which his individualism challenges all that is enigmatic and incomprehensible in life. I seek to capture the desire for balance where life faces constant transformation and in which the ephemeral predominates.

An image is formed based on the creation of poetic images and objects in order to reach the observer through introspection, through the silence in his inner soul. Each work is unique, just as each person’s desire is to be unique, marking its path of deconstruction and reconstruction through the use of simple colors and clear forms.

My work is a process of personal exploration and questioning. Moving forward is a constant challenge in the search of an unattainable goal: the final satisfaction both as an individual human being and as part of nature.
